I take charge of developing and managing the social media schedule for our esteemed Impetus and RNGD brands. Furthermore, I produce captivating videos catering to internal and external audiences, including employee training, advertising campaigns, and business proposals. By working closely with our marketing director and other departments, I oversee partner agencies and vendors, monitor comments and messages on digital platforms, create digital content for ads, and strategically accomplish our objectives.

As the digital marketing manager of NOCC, my responsibility was to involve the entire staff and student body in identifying narratives that could be told through engaging video storytelling and social media campaigns. This was done to demonstrate the impact of the organization on both students and the community of New Orleans. I created compelling videos and other marketing materials that have laid the foundation for NOCC's long-term brand identity and corporate messaging.

In 2016, my co-founder and I established a boutique marketing agency specializing in website design, web development, brand design, social media marketing, and various corporate communication materials. As the creative director, I managed all client relations and creative operations, including a team of freelance developers and content creators. Over the years, we worked with businesses of all sizes in education, environmental justice, workforce development, tourism, and consumer goods. However, my business partner and I decided to dissolve our partnership in 2022.

I started as an account manager, handling 100+ small business accounts. Later, I became the marketing director, the master of all things digital. I managed everything from social media, to e-commerce product marketing to email newsletters. My biggest achievement was creating the company's first content strategy, which resulted in a new website, social media audience of 30,000+, and exponential growth. I managed social media, graphic design, website, trade shows, product photography, and paid media.

When I stumbled upon Democracy Now! during my Alternatives to Globalization class in college, I had no idea I would become an integral part of the show's online distribution and audience engagement just a year later. From analyzing daily news segments to identifying the most responsive audiences, my job was all about creating captivating narratives that resonated with different markets on social media. I worked closely with my team to produce engaging copywriting, edit video segments for social media, and distribute episodes and segments to Facebook, Soundcloud, and email marketing. What I learned in this position was the power of market personas and how to manage external marketing operations.
